Announcing a new series: the Maisie Frobisher Mysteries!

Well, I did say I’d do another update on Maisie before the end of the year, and here it is! And behold, it’s a series, the Maisie Frobisher Mysteries! Take a look at the covers…

Regular readers may have noted that I’ve been mentioning a spinoff to the Caster & Fleet series for a little while now. If you’ve read any of the Caster & Fleet books, you may recognise Maisie as an old friend of Connie’s and a minor character. She made an exit in book 4, The Case of the Masquerade Mob, and now we get to find out what she did next! While the odd name or character may pop up in the narrative, you don’t have to have read the Caster & Fleet books first. I’d describe this series as adventure mystery, since Maisie roams just a little further than Katherine and Connie!

Release info for the first 3 books is as follows (click each bullet point to see the book on Amazon):

All books will be available to read in Kindle Unlimited, and also in paperback.

I have a small number of ebook Advance Review Copies (ARCs) for All At Sea still available. If you would like one, please read the blurb below and then follow the link at the bottom. A short review on Amazon or Goodreads after reading would be very much appreciated!

All At Sea

They say that travel broadens the mind…

5140SJ+xTnL

When socialite Maisie Frobisher heads off on a cruise to India in search of adventure, little does she know what form it will take.

First some jewellery, then an important document goes missing from an ambassador’s cabin. If that document gets into the wrong hands there will be trouble. And it’s definitely in the wrong hands…

Maisie already has her suspicions of a fellow-guest at the captain’s table. However, when he turns out to be a police inspector travelling incognito and takes over the investigation, Maisie’s nose is put firmly out of joint. Then a crime of an entirely different kind rears its head, and Maisie finds that the past she is trying to escape from just won’t let her go…

With less than two weeks until the ship reaches port, can Maisie put aside her prejudices and learn to work with Inspector Hamilton? Can they trust each other? And most importantly, can they find that document before it causes an international incident?

All At Sea is the first book in the Maisie Frobisher Mysteries series, set in the mid-1890s.
