A new book – and a competition too!

I took a day off between book edits this week, and spent it sorting out the book cover and blurb for Pippa Parker book 6. I’m not sure this qualifies as a day off in the normal sense of the word, but hey.

Anyway, here it is! Announcing Pippa Parker book 6, Past Tense, launching June 30! As usual, the book will be available in ebook and paperback and also via Kindle Unlimited, and you can preorder it now.

Here’s the blurb:

The coldest case you ever saw…

When Pippa Parker attends a meeting about Clementina Stoate, Victorian poet and former resident of Much Gadding, she has no idea what she’s getting into.

First a file of Clementina’s letters goes missing — and of course there are no copies. Who has taken the letters, and why?

Clementina’s descendant hires Pippa to track the letters down. But as she investigates their disappearance, Pippa discovers a bigger mystery. The only problem is that everyone involved is dead.

Can Pippa go back in time and solve a case which has puzzled Clementina’s readers for generations? Or is she risking her reputation for nothing?

Past Tense is the sixth book in the Pippa Parker cozy mystery series, set in and around the English village of Much Gadding.

So this week, as I’m still quite giddy from putting a new book onto Amazon, I’ve decided to give away one of my books in paperback!

To enter, go to the pinned post on either my Facebook author page or my Twitter profile, and the instructions are there. I’ll do a random draw from all entrants when the competition closes on Saturday 23 May, and the winner will receive the paperback of their choice by post.

Over 16s only, please, and you’ll need to have a postal address which I can post to from the UK.
