Possibly the quietest book launch ever! Murder in the Choir

Happy Boxing Day! If you’ve been celebrating Christmas, hope you had a great time and are still full of food and replete with presents. Despite various illness bugs floating around the family, we had a lovely dinner and Santa came! So a good day all round.

I possibly enjoyed it more because I was recovering from the excitement of the day before. What sort of fool starts a multi-book, multi-day sale AND decides to publish their new book on Christmas Eve?

Erm, that would be me. To be fair, I’d done most of the ebook formatting for Murder in the Choir the day before, so it was really a matter of doing final checks and conversion, proofing the book on Amazon, and pushing the big orange button. And now to see when the book actually appears, I thought.

Amazon’s elves clearly never sleep, because the book was showing up in searches within a few hours, and Murder in the Choir was fully live later that day. Considering I haven’t done very much to promote it, I’m really pleased with sales and KDP reads so far.

And here it is! I’m keeping the price down to 99c/99p until Twelfth Night, so if you want to get it cheap, you know what to do! Oh, and it’s also free to read on Kindle Unlimited.

Choir ebook flat final with line

Here’s the blurb:

When Pippa Parker joins the village choir, she doesn’t expect anyone to die…

No-one thinks the death of a soprano is anything but a tragic accident; everyone in the choir is too busy rehearsing for SingFest UK. With no help from the police, Pippa must investigate alone. If anyone finds out what she is up to, she risks losing both her friends and the respect of the local community.

And speaking of friends, what on earth does best friend Lila see in her new man?

Murder in the Choir is the second book in the Pippa Parker cozy mystery series, set in and around the English village of Much Gadding.
